Insurance and Payment
I’m an in-network provider for Highmark, Quest, Aetna, and United Healthcare.
If I accept your insurance, I will check your benefits and let you know about any deductible or co-pay before we meet.
If you have no deductible, I’ll bill your insurance directly. You’ll just pay the co-pay at each session.
Cigna, Value Options, Tri-Care, and most other non-HMO plans have out-of-network benefits and reimburse some percentage of my fees.
My out-of-network clients report that their plans reimburse between 45-80% of my fees.
Please check with your particular plan about out-of-network benefits.
Please note that I have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Insurance does not cover missed sessions.
I charge self-pay clients my usual fee for late cancellations or missed sessions.
I charge insured clients $50.00 for late cancellations or missed sessions.
I have a generous sliding scale for folks without insurance- just ask!
Please read my practice guidelines and rate sheet for information about payment and cancellation policies.
